LONDON – Faced with delivering a complex show design capable of fitting into every kind of venue, LD Chris Bushell turned to Avolites’ Sapphire Touch console for Arcade Fire’s Reflektor tour. He explains, “I needed a console that would allow me to recreate my design as quickly and efficiently as possible in each space. Astera Names Bluebottle Exclusive Australian Distributor

RUDESHEIM, Germany – Astera named Bluebottle as the exclusive distributor of Astera’s wireless event lights in Australasia. Bluebottle is based in Melbourne, Australia, and will serve mainland Australia, New Zealand and other Australasian islands. More than 200 of The Purple Group’s 900 Moving Lights are Robe Fixtures

SCHIJNDEL, The Netherlands — The Purple Group, founded by Harry Zinken in 1989, has been relying on the Robe brand in recent years for a growing share of its rental inventory. After Robe’s ROBIN series was launched in 2010, The Purple Group’s Robe purchases expanded further. The company can now offer clients more than 900 moving light fixtures, and more than 200 of those are Robe units. Zinken credited Robe and also its distributor, Controllux, for their service and support.
