PRG Provides Crew, Lighting Gear and Rigging for La Boheme at RAH
LONDON — Royal Albert Hall, in conjunction with Raymond Gubbay, staged Puccini’s classic opera, La Bohème, with an assist from crew, lighting equipment, lighting console and rigging from Production Resource Group (PRG). Andrew Bridge once again served as LD for the Gubbay/RAH production, continuing a 20-year production alliance.

LAS VEGAS — The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) reported that total registered attendance for the 2014 NAB Show was 98,015, an uptick of more than four percent from 2013. Exhibit space was also up more than seven percent from the previous year, with the event comprising 1,746 exhibiting companies spanning 945,000 net square feet of exhibit space.

WorldStage Provides Gear for NBC’s Revamped Tonight Show, Late Night Studios
NEW YORK – The Tonight Show got a new Manhattan address as well a new man behind the desk earlier this year. To prepare for the show’s cross-county move to New York, LD Fred Bock created a new look in NBC’s upgraded Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center. WorldStage supported Bock’s design with an extensive studio and band lighting package, and also handled the sale and rental lighting packages for the new Late Night with Seth Meyers in NBC’s Studio 8G.

Clay Paky at Circus Roncalli
GERMANY – In the four decades since its founding, Circus Roncalli has always been committed to maintaining the classical circus tradition. And as the circus has grown over the years, so too has it lighting needs. Currently, several Clay Paky lights, including 36 A.leda K10s, 28 Alpha Spot HPE 700s and six Alpha Wash 700s, were installed along with other equipment. “The A.leda K10’s brightness is unmatched. Despite its compact size, it is a really efficient wash light. It is also impressive thanks to its excellent colour rendition.
