HSL’s Mike Oates worked with MJM Management and LarMac Live along with LD Ian Tomlinson. The rigs included fixtures from Robe, Clay Paky and Martin, driven by grandMA and ChamSys consoles.

NASHVILLE — Toby Keith’s Hammer Down Tour started in June and runs through October. Bandit Lites provided gear for the lighting design by LD Seth Jackson and co-designer Nathan W. Scheuer. The initial design, formulated in early 2013, needed to be modified after the tragic loss of Toby Keith’s longtime bass player, Chuck Goff, who was killed in an auto accident. The 2013 trek’s set design also differed sharply from Toby Keith’s past tours, with elaborate set elements replaced by spare, vertical lighting looks.
