Burross Receives HES Lifetime Achievement Award

AUSTIN, TX – High End Systems National Sales Manager Craig Burross was recently presented an award from his peers and company founders for his achievement of $200 million in sales of High End Systems products. Burross joined High End Systems in March 1991, and was instrumental in the company’s sales of Intellabeam HX, Trackspot, Cyberlight, Studio Color and other products in the US. Burross says he is continuing to work on his next $200 million for the company.

LOS ANGELES — The 6,000-plus capacity Gibson Amphitheatre, which opened as an outdoor venue within Universal City in 1972 before being enclosed in 1982, is set to close as its lease expires in September. Set designer LeRoy Bennett was at the helm of the show’s visual display, and Tait delivered a complete staging solution. The rolling mainstage includes a flaggapault lift, retractable dance bar, band risers, duck blinds, propane bars, pantograph stairs, Austrians, Kabukis, Sniffers and fanzone decking with custom handrails. Tait also crafted the framework for one of the key mainstage elements: a strobe and mirror structure made up of five alternating columns of strobes and automated mirrors intermixed with six light ladders.
