LONDON – Jeremy Lloyd has taken on a new role as spectaculars director at Tait, based at the company’s U.K. location. Lloyd has worked on many of the industry’s biggest productions during his 22 years of live event experience. Most recently he led the technical design and staging teams for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies in London.

LOS ANGELES – Vista Systems’ Spyders are at the core of a Fox Sports Media Group studio in Century City, CA, where the NFL on Fox, UFC on Fox, College Football Saturday and soccer coverage are produced.  The Spyders feed seven different monitor walls and are used to route images to the appropriate wall.  The network needs to easily create different presets and scaling and the Spyders facilitate changing presets in the middle of a live show.

EL PASO — More than 200 Chauvet Professional video panels became the central part of  Audible, an EDM event featuring Deadmau5, Chris Lake and Audrey Napoleon. Creative Production & Design of Austin, TX, supplied the gear. “The design of this show depended on the transparent nature of the columns and the MVP 18 panels where a perfect fit,” said Justin Jenkins, director of Creative Production & Design. “This transparency has allowed us to not only layer video designs, such as this one, but to also allow lighting to be mounted behind the panels and ‘blow through’ for an additive effect.”
