Strictly Come Dancing – The Live Tour Travels with grandMA2 Light Consoles

LONDON – For the fourth Strictly Come Dancing – The Live Tour, LD Mark Kenyon's rig includes more than 170 moving light sources plus hundreds of generics and scenic LED sources, all run on a grandMA2 light console, with another grandMA2 light running in full tracking backup. David Bishop spec'd and programmed the console for the tour, and Mike Rothwell is the console operator traveling with the show.

Bing Bar Returns to Sundance Film Festival with 100 Chauvet Fixtures

PARK CITY, UT – The Bing Bar and its performance stages, sponsored by Microsoft at the Claim Jumper Hotel, returned for a second year at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and the hues chosen for the event were, naturally, Bing.com orange and blue. Sound Pioneer Bruce Jackson Killed in Plane Crash

DEATH VALLEY, CA – Legendary sound pioneer and Parnelli Audio Innovator Award honoree Bruce Jackson was killed on January 29, when his Mooney M020 single engine piston prop engine plane crashed near Furnace Creek, CA, in Death Valley National Park. The Federal Aviation Association is investigating the cause of the crash and currently lists it as "unknown circumstances." Jackson was alone, flying at 11 p.m. He was 62.
