Croatian Band Celebrates Independent Spirit with Robe Fixtures
ZAGREB, Croatia – The concert that took place at Zagreb’s Ban Jelačić Square on Oct. 17, 1989 was more than a big music event. Featuring Croatian superstar band Prljavo Kazalište, it drew 250,000 in defiance of Yugoslavia authorities. Croatia would break free as an independent country two years later. This year, Prljavo Kazalište marked the 30th anniversary of that concert, lit with Robe fixtures.
