Melbourne, Australia’s Hamer Hall Equipped with Robe Moving Lights

MELBOURNE, Australia – Built in 1982, Hamer Hall, the the 2,464-seat home to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO), was fully refurbished in 2013. The new lighting rig includes 22 Robe MMX Spots and 10 LEDWash 600 fixtures, among others. The upgraded fixtures were specified and overseen in part by Bernie Manchee, the venue’s head of lighting. Others relying on the fixtures include Bernie Manchee, head of lighting for Arts Centre Melbourne and Trent Barclay, lighting systems specialist (pictured here, L-R).

ETC Debuts Echo Expansion Bridge and Echo-Echoflex Interface

ETC added two new features for users of its Unison Echo control systems – Echo Expansion Bridge and Echo-Echoflex Interface. Echo Expansion Bridge (pictured here) gives users access to up to 64 Echo devices, such as Inspire stations. The new Echo-Echoflex interface has a built-in 902 MHz EnOcean radio to enable communication between Echo and Echoflex wireless devices without any additional wiring.
