Analog Way Opens New Facility in Buford, GA; Will Serve as HQ for the Americas

BUFORD, GA – Analog Way opened its new headquarters for the Americas in Buford, GA, which is in Gwinnett County outside Atlanta. The 15,000 square-foot facility, located at 3047 Summer Oak Place in Buford, will house operations for the company’s staff devoted to sales, administration, finance, IT, technical support and product repair, and also includes a warehouse for the company’s products. The company’s new HQ for the Americas comes after 13 years of focusing its U.S. operations in NYC.

Foxes U.K. Tour Includes Robe Moving Lights

LONDON – Singer / songwriter Foxes (Louisa Rose Allen), whose vocals were featured on “Clarity” by Zedd, recently toured the U.K. with a new lighting design created by Jake Vernum. Working with LD Cate Carter of Bryte Design, the lighting looks relied upon Robe fixtures included five LEDWash 1200s, six Pointes and six LEDBeam 100s. At larger venues such as London’s Roundhouse, the tour rig was complemented by house-supplied lighting including additional Robe moving lights.

March Madness Music Festival Rig Includes Chauvet Professional Next NXT-1 Fixtures

HOUSTON -– The 2016 NCAA March Madness Music Festival, offering three days of music April 1-3 to Houston’s Discovery Green just prior to the April 4 final matchup between Villanova and North Carolina, drew huge crowds with a roster of headliners that included Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy and Pitbull, among others. John Dickson of LD Systems in Houston worked with Turner Live Events to create the rig with programming done by individual band LDs. Throughout the festival, the high-impact show gained energy from the rapid movements of the rig’s 32 Next NXT-1 moving LED panels from Chauvet Professional.

Classical Spectacular at London’s Royal Albert Hall Lit with Clay Paky Fixtures

LONDON – For the annual Classical Spectacular at London’s Royal Albert Hall March 17-20, LD Durham Marenghi used a symphony of Clay Paky Mythos, Sharpy, Sharpy Wash, Alpha Spot HPE 1500 and Alpha Spot HPE 700 fixtures to create a dynamic lighting show. Put on by the legendary classic music promoter Raymond Gubbay, the dramatic overtures were complemented by cannons, guns and 2,000 indoor fireworks, which brought the show to a thundering finale.

Lite Factory Lights K-Pop Boy Band EXO in Manila with Clay Paky Fixtures

MANILA, The Philippines – One of the biggest boy bands in K-pop, EXO, have played their first two concerts outside of Korea with a high-impact lighting design by Moon Won Jun of Lite Factory for two consecutive shows in Manila. The LD used more than 200 Clay Paky fixtures supplied by PMX Trading and Technical Services, which upplied a full technical package. The lighting rig included 130 Clay Paky Sharpys, 50 Sharpy Wash 330s, 16 A.leda B-EYE K20s and a mix of 42 Stormy CC and Stormy LED strobes. The sold-out concerts took place at Manila’s 20,000-capacity SM Mall of Asia arena in Pasay, in the Manila area.
