CHICAGO – Justin Litterio, an 15-year entertainment technology industry veteran, has joined JR Lighting Design, Inc. full-time as Systems Integration Manager. Most recently, Justin has toured with Panic! at the Disco as Master Electrician, Head Rigger, and Lead Video Technician. He formerly worked for Windy City Music, Inc. serving in multiple key roles over the past nine years.

Sixty Killed, Scores Injured by Pyro-Sparked Nightclub Fire in Romania

BUCHAREST, Romania — A fire sparked by pyro effects during a performance by heavy metal band Goodbye to Gravity ignited foam decor and raced across the ceiling within the crowded Colectiv nightclub at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 30, filling the venue with smoke and fumes. About 400 people were in the club at the time of the fire. Sixty were killed, including all but one of the band members, according to news reports.

Hyrljudet in Sweden Provides Robe Pointes to Local Venues

GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Hyrljudet, a sound company that has branched into lighting since it was founded in 2005 by Kristoffer Jansson, added 24 of Robe’s Pointes to its inventory earlier this year.
