CLARK, NJ – For the Rock Carnival, staged Sept. 18-20 at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, NJ, Pulse Stage Lighting provided an Avolites console for every stage. The acts included Godsmack, Slash, Stone Temple Pilots, Anthrax, Sevendust and dozens of other hard rock bands; the Avo lineup included a Pearl Expert with Touch Wing (Stage A), a Sapphire Touch (Stage B) and a Tiger Touch on a smaller stage featuring mostly rock tribute acts.

WOLFSBURG, Germany – Andreas “Mini” Mertens used grandMA2 consoles to control the visuals once again at this year’s Wassershow at the Autostadt. The French themed show featured a combination of fire, water, video, lights, lasers and music. A total of four grandMA2 light consoles, 3 grandMA2 full-size consoles and 1 grandMA2 fader wing were used to control the lights, pyrotechnics and fountain effects. The moving lights included 50 Clay Paky Sharpy Wash 330s and 20 Clay Paky Mythos units.

SEATTLE – Video technician John Cocci has invested in a second UDC button panel event controller from High Resolution Systems (HRS) to use for live corporate shows. Cocci added the UDC-400 to his equipment inventory, which already features a UDC-210 he purchased earlier. He has provided video support for the producers of corporate events for Google, Cisco, Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, Burger King, Discovery Network and others.

OSLO, Norway – A pixel wall designed by ÅF Lighting and controlled by ETC Unison Mosaic has been attracting crowds and winning plaudits from media since it opened earlier this year. Mellbye Arkitektur Interiør AS also chose ETC Source Four lighting fixtures for the project. Geir Sire served as LD.
