MIAMI – There was never really any question that the LED fixtures installed aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum-class cruise liners would prove to be more energy-efficient than incandescent alternatives. Elation reports that after a closer analysis, the cruise ship company found LED energy savings for fixtures lighting its theatre shows to be in the 76-to-84-percent range, exceeding company expectations. TORONTO – Contemporary dance company, Ballet Creole, marked its 25th anniversary with many events and performances, including their annual spring season at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Dance Theatre. A.C.T Lighting, Inc., distributor of Clay Paky fixtures in North America, supplied LD Brad Trenaman with some Alpha Spot QWO 800s, which were not yet available from local rental houses. Trenaman also deployed Clay Paky A.leda K10 and K20 Wash fixtures during the season.
