Robert Juliat Lancelot Spots Part of One Direction’s Global Tour

LONDON – For One Direction’s global tour which visited South America before heading to some of the largest-capacity stadiums and arenas in the U.K. and Europe, Paul Normandale provided a lighting design that includes Robert Juliat fixtures.

LONDON — For Robbie Williams’ Swings Both Ways tour, which features visual and set elements designed by show directors Lee Lodge and Willie Williams and LD Mark Cunniffe, automation is being handled by a Kinesys Vector system controlled by Gareth Williams (no relation to the headliner).

MUNICH, Germany – For the fourth German-Turkish Cultural Olympiad, an event that aspires to strengthen mutual cultural awareness, education and understanding, show lighting designer and operator Chris Schatz (Klinkertorstudios) used an MA system to manage 60 Clay Paky Sharpys and 20 Alpha Spot HPE 1500s.

The venue’s production team relies on a lighting rig with close to a thousand fixtures, including a variety of fixtures from Harman’s Martin Professional.

LONDON – Digital Insanity used Hippotizers to map eight huge LED screens with the letters G.O.D.Z.I.L.L.A. at the film’s London premiere. The letters were masked onto the front, creating an impressive light box effect, and were programmed with lighting chases and movie footage.
