TEL AVIV, Israel – For a Prodigy concert at Trade Fairs Centre here, LD Andy Hurst used more than 120 Robe fixtures including 32 Pointes, 76 LEDBeam 100s and 16 LEDWash 600s supplied by Argaman Systems. The gear mostly came from Argaman’s stock, but Danor Rental provided some of the fixtures.

Marteria Tour Rig Included Clay Paky Fixtures
MUNICH – For a recent tour featuring electronic/rap artist Marteria, LD Tjorre Hasubski used 42 fixtures from Clay Paky in the lighting rig, including 22 Alpha Spot QWO 800s and 20 Clay Paky Sharpys. They were controlled by a full-size grandMA2 and grandMA2 light console along with one VPU basic MK2 and two 12 x 2.3 kVA digital dimmers, all from MA Lighting.

LEICESTER, U.K. – Kasabian’s homecoming concert here recently featured a lighting design by Renegade Design LD Nick Gray. The event, which drew 50,000 to Victoria Park, supported the band’s latest album, 48:13. Gray collaborated with Kasabian creative director/show designer Aitor Throup on the project, which included more than 500 lighting fixtures and an elaborate video setup.

LOS ANGELES – The 20th annual E3 convention for the video game industry took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center here June 10-12, and Microsoft held an elaborate press briefing for its Xbox gaming systems just before the event, June 9, at the Galen Center here. The design team for Microsoft’s Xbox visuals, which used video gear from Chaos Visual Productions, also relied upon a Chaos-supplied d3 setup for visual management. Along with five d3 4U v2.5 units (1 master, 2 slaves, 2 understudies), Chaos provided nine 30K Christie projector (6 active) and three 9mm Winvision LED walls for the event. The design team credited the d3 setup for helping the elaborate visual elements come together within a five-day time frame.
