Over the course of more than 40 tour dates this year, Jackson plays for a variety of venues and audiences across North America. TEMPE, AZ- Daniel Fine and Adam Vachon recently turned to 4Wall Entertainment Las Vegas to provide lighting gear for their joint Applied Thesis Project, Wonder Dome, at Arizona State University. LONDON – Nick Gray of Renegade, based here, created the lighting and visuals scheme for the “Atomic Bomb” tour by a new international super-group led by David Byrne to honor the work of obscure Nigerian funk musician William Onyeabor. Onyeabor’s distinctive rhythmic, funkadelic, spacey synthesiser-orientated grooves were composed in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a prolific composer / performer. Since then he has gained a cult following among musicians and music aficionados.

MACAO – LD Alessio de Simone credited CAST Software’s wysiwyg for its pre-viz assist withThe Rhythm Of Life, a multimedia show presented in Macao’s ancient city center. “We placed all the projectors as called-for in our wysiwyg documentation, turned on all the moving heads – and every scene position was exactly as it had been in our pre-visualization. With small adjustments for pan and tilt, gobos and beams were perfect – just like they had appeared in our designs, 10,000km away,” de Simone said.
