HUNTSVILLE, AL — Janet Wilks Milly, wife of Theatrical Lighting Systems (TLS) founder and 4Wall executive David E. Milly, died Feb. 19, 2014. Before retiring as its chief financial officer in 2004, Janet Milly had played an active role at TLS, Inc., which David Milly founded in 1981. MIAMI – At 2pm EST on Jan. 28, free tickets (actually, $1, with those proceeds going to charity) became available for a Feb. 15 DeadMau5 show at Miami’s Ice Palace. MUNICH – BMW World features a dynamic lighting design using LED-based Exterior 430 luminaires from Martin Professional. Florian Felsch, general manager, Livebau Solutions, noted the the attraction is now using LEDs to show off the autos in their best light indoors as well, with LEDs calibrated at 5600K. He credited the fixtures for lowering maintenance costs by 90 percent, and allowing for a 1.5 year ROI.
