MILWAUKEE, WI — The crew for Summerfest ’08, which takes place at the Marcus Amphitheater in Henry Maier Festival Park along the lakefront, staged a followspot showdown this year. Final text of the rules is not yet available, but the order is purported to greatly reduce the amount of clear spectrum available for use by professional audio and communications equipment.

It can provide aerial effects and split color beam effects, changing color via CMY color mixing. A six degree beam angle, iris and LDC display come standard. ADELAIDE, Australia — Local firm Fusion responded to a design competition to liven up the capital of South Australia with a plan to permanently wrap an eight-story parking garage with a moving illuminated canvas. Designer Damien Mair said the idea was to “capture the imaginations” of passersby “and add beauty to people’s lives,” not just entertain or inform them with yet another giant video screen.
