Los Angeles-Area Video Gaming Events Rely on Ron StageMaster for Load Monitoring

LOS ANGELES – The BlizzCon convention (held in Anaheim in November, and pictured here) and the “League of Legends Season 3 World Championship” (held in Los Angeles last October) both relied upon Ron StageMaster load monitoring to manage heavy, complex rigs. Brent Armstrong of Alpine Rigging and Structural Design, a proponent of load monitoring systems, provided his perspective on the events.

Viva Vox Choir from Serbia Performs in China with Assist from LSC Clarity

BEIJING – LD Pero Trifuljesku used LSC Lighting’s Clarity to control the visuals accompanying the Viva Vox Choir’s performance at The Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square. The choir and LD both hail from Serbia. Trifuljesku credited the Clarity software’s Template Editor for helping him quickly gain control over a wide range of fixtures encountered while traveling to different venues.

Spectacles in Dubai and Doha Get A&O Support

DUBAI and DOHA – A&O Creative, the creative department of A&O Technology, stayed busy through the end of 2013 planning three spectacular international events that celebrated the arrival of 2014. The photo here shows the celebration in Doha of Qatar’s National Day, which took place Dec. 18. Both pyro and searchlights were situated on Old Palm Trees Island for this event.
