SAO PAULO, Brazil — For a nine-date tour in Brazil in January 2014, David Guetta LD Jonathan “Leggy” Armstrong worked with Alex ‘Junior’ Cerio of Smash Productions and Sam MacLaren of LightLab. Some of the locally sourced shows, including those supplied by Apple Produções, had a variety of Robe fixtures in the rig. Julie Taymor’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” Gets AV Support from WorldStage

BROOKLYN, NY — There’s only a judicious amount of character flying in Julie Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the first production to be staged in the compact but versatile Polonsky Shakespeare Center, which opened here last fall, and, as Taymor wryly noted in an interview in The New York Times, the odds of production snags arising from hastily updated scripts were even less remote. Even so, the production, with set design by Es Devlin, had its own unique challenges and complexities. WorldStage provided a video assist.

Top Gear Live Debuts in Scotland with Assist from PRG

GLASGOW — Top Gear Live made its debut in Scotland with five shows from Jan. 17-19. Based on the British TV show, and featuring presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May along with show character, “The Stig,” the production included a variety of live stunts and challenges. PRG supported the event’s lighting and rigging needs.
