ORLANDO – The new Robe Robin Cyclone product was inspired by Pittsburgh, PA-based LD Scott Warner, who had an idea and took it to Robe. It features an integrated fan in the center of a moving head, surrounded by a ring of 24 individually controllable RGBW multichip LEDs. Cyclones are designed for wafting drapes and softgoods around the stage and set to produce subtle effects, as well as for cooling artists while performing in any hot environment complete with ‘hair-blowing’ and ‘smoke through the fan’ looks.

LMG Opens Music City Center Office in Nashville

NASHVILLE – LMG, Inc. took part in the grand opening celebrations on May 19-20 for the Music City Center in Nashville. Operating onsite under the name Music City Audiovisual, LMG signed a multi-year AV contract with the Music City Center to support the 1.2 million square foot facility with dedicated onsite staff and equipment. Clay Paky Stars on Eros Ramazzotti’s European Tour

ITALY – Eros Ramazzotti’s European tour set, video and lighting were designed and built by lighting and video designer Jvan Morandi and his company Placing Shadow. Morandi explains the design. “The set itself consists of large hanging parallelepipeds, which are fitted with high resolution LED panels and large areas for video projections. The entire 18-ton assembly is equipped with a vertical automation system attached to the corners of the 3-D structures (four triangles, a diamond and a cube), which can be moved to give substance to the scene.”
