DALLAS – Maryland-based event production company Showcall Inc., working with the Bush Center’s communications and events team, successfully planned and produced dedication events for the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas. Says Ajay R. South African State Theatre Invests in More Robe

PRETORIA, South Africa – The South African State Theatre in Pretoria has added more Robe LED fixtures to its lighting inventory, specified by Head of Lighting Simon King. The State Theatre’s lighting crew appreciate the new Robes because they are light in weight and easy to handle. Christie Solara Projectors for ‘Gatsby’ World Premiere

NEW YORK CITY —The world premiere of the film “The Great Gatsby” lit up the screen in 3-D with Christie Solaria Series digital cinema projectors. The star-studded event took place at Avery Fisher Hall. Christie dealer Digital Media Systems selected two Christie CP4230 DLP digital cinema projectors for the screening, which converged the light from two projectors to create a seamless image projected onto a silver screen.

CHICAGO – Chicago Spotlight, Inc. is shedding some light on the United Center arena with help from Robert Juliat Cyrano followspots. “The United Center is in the process of replacing their current followspots,” says Marty Lazarus, Chicago Spotlight president.  “Their existing fixtures have been there since the arena opened.  Their goal is to replace two each year until all 12 are replaced with Cyranos.”
