Milos Roof Covers A.R. Rahman Concert

CHENNAI, India – A Milos MR5 roof system was recently used for a high profile open-air concert by Indian star A.R. Rahman, staged at the YMCA Grounds in Chennai, India. The multideck layered stage was designed by Bollywood set designer Varsha Jain.  This, along with the Milos roof system, trussing, rigging and assorted scaffolding and structures, were supplied by Chennai-based Men At Work Stagecraft Management Pvt Ltd and project manager Mankaran Singh.

Yanni just finished 80 dates through the U.S. and Canada, and another extensive tour through South America in 2012. During his “off time” in 2013, Yanni was off to do a private wedding in Chennai, India. “It was for two of the richest families in India — quite the three-day extravaganza!” said production designer/LD Bud Horowitz, now preparing Yanni’s new tour.
