Hermes Lights Up Flagship Store with PR Lighting

VILLAHERMOSA, Mexico – Hermes Music recently supplied PR Lighting’s PR8800 architectural fixtures to light up the facade of one of the Liverpool department store flagship sites in Villahermosa, in the state of Tabasco. Architectural firm Inaki Echeverria constructed the facade from segments of precast concrete slabs that rotate at 180° angles.

White Light Launches Titanic Belfast

BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND – White Light helped launch the iconic Titanic Belfast building, a Titanic visitor experience which has been built on the site of the docks where the famous ship itself was constructed and launched 100 years ago. A 40-minute AV performance on the evening of April 7 featured projections mapped to the building’s surface, in sync with pyro. Titanic Belfast contains nine galleries that combine special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and more to explore the story of the Titanic from construction and launch to her infamous maiden voyage, the aftermath of her sinking and on to the discovery of the wreck.

St. Louis Tent Structure Collapses in High Winds, More than a Dozen Injured, One Dies

ST. LOUIS, MO — Within seconds, high winds knocked down a large tent set up at Kilroy’s Sports Bar for a celebration after the Cardinals-Brewers baseball game at about 4 pm on Saturday, April 28. Of the 200 people gathered, nearly half sustained at least minor injuries. Of more than a dozen transported to local hospitals for treatment, five were listed in critical, and then serious, condition. An Illinois man, Alfred Goodman, died.
