CLEVELAND, OH — The Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated the end to their 52-year championship drought in downtown Cleveland, drawing more than 1.3 million fans and supporters.  The two-mile parade commemorated past and present champions, culminating with a rally on the Cleveland Mall. Premier Event Technology, LMG and EventEQ partnered with George P. Johnson, the overall production company to execute this event by providing audio, video, lighting, and LED to welcome home the 2016 NBA Champions.

A.C.T Lighting selected Soundcheck, the premier rehearsal studio in Nashville, for its showcase venue. Area rental houses, lighting shops, and lighting designers and programmers were invited to view the products and fill up on some of the best BBQ in town.

AALSMEER, The Netherlands —More than 100 Robe moving lights, including 40 DL7S Profile “full spectrum” LED fixtures, lit the craziness and mayhem of the latest series of Professor Nicolai & Dr. Beckand, a “mad science “-based TV quiz show recorded in Aalsmeer studios in the Netherlands and broadcast on prime-time Dutch national channel, RTL4. The show was lit by Martin Beekhuizen of lighting and visual design practice Light-H-Art, with lighting equipment supplied by Eventec, a company based at the studios and a technical service provider for the majority of programs created there.

LD Rick Kay Uses GLP X4 Bars for Alternative Fashion Week in Berlin

BERLIN, Germany – LD Rick Kay of the CORE Berlin collective joined forces with local rental company Lautwerfer at the end of 2014 to help deliver the inaugural Alternative Fashion Week. The event has since outgrown its origins at local techno club E-Werk and, for the March 2016 event, expanded into Berlin’s Postbahnhof, a former railway station. Kay used  48 of GLP’s new X4 Bar 10 battens — 24 down each side of the stage — for that event.

Analog Way Americas Grand Opening Makes Use of PixelFLEX FLEXCurtain LED Video Screen

ATLANTA – HWPco supported the grand opening of Analog Way Americas’ Atlanta-area headquarters recently, using FLEXCurtain LED video technology from Nashville-based PixelFLEX. The LED screens helped transform Analog Way’s 6,000 square foot warehouse space into an engaging environment for invited guests. The setup included FLEXCurtain screens divided into three sections measuring a total of 30 by 10 feet (WxH). The screen panels were hung from a truss structure rigged to the warehouse roof.
