Perfume Industry’s Awards Show in Berlin Lit with Elation Platinum FLX Fixtures

BERLIN – Full service production company satis&fy provided the entertainment technology and decorative atmosphere for the 2016 Duftstars Awards in Berlin, the German perfume industry’s premier accolade, and used their new stock of Elation Professional Platinum FLX™ hybrid moving heads on the event. The Fragrance Foundation of Germany announced the winners of the awards at a presentation ceremony held on May 12th at Kraftwerk Berlin.

GHENT, Belgium — Arf & Yes provided the design for the Voice van Vlaanderan (Voice of Flanders), which was staged in Hall 8 of the Ghent Expo center with a live audience of 3,000. Led owner and founder, Ignace D’Haese, the Arf & Yes design team provided stage, set, lighting and video. The lighting rig included lighting rig featured 86 Robe moving lights, including 52 Pointes, 30 LEDWash 800s and four LEDWash 300s.

LONDON – Leading UK Lighting and visuals rental company Colour Sound Experiment celebrated 10 years of being a main technical supplier to Field Day – one of London’s premier and most popular urban music events, staged in Victoria Park, Hackney. Lighting was designed to be as flexible as possible to deal with the dynamic line-up of DJs and live acts which included legendary French electronica duo Air headlining on the Sunday.

LONDON – Earlier this month, Graham Jones Music Ltd organized ‘Project 70’ – a 70th birthday celebration that took place at the historic Tower of London. In order to create a memorable occasion, the event featured a 70 piece marching band along with a live performance from soprano Laura Wright. As a result, it required reliable AV support and White Light was called upon to provide the complete technical solutions.

CANBERRA, Australia – Elite Sound and Lighting, based in the Australian capital, Canberra, is one of the country’s fastest growing rental and production companies. Headed by owner and founder Darren Russell, Elite made its first Robe investment in 2011 and in 2013, Darren made the conscious commitment to Robe as their ‘house’ moving light brand. “I simply wanted a premium brand that was reliable and had a diverse enough range to cover all requirements for rental, staging and installation applications,” he said.

DUBAI – Maestra was asked on-board by sports producers ProActiv to provide all the rigging, sound, video, lighting, staging and draping needed for the popular two day event, project managed for Maestra Group by managing partner of Maestra Dubai, Tom Clements. The brief included coordinating the extensive soft-goods required around the site and setting up a workable backstage space using creative draping to give dressing and green rooms and technical areas. Maestra also supplied the local crew and specialized event security.

PARIS – Lighting designer Nicolas Maisonneuve specified eight Robe BMFL Blades for the Très souvent je pense à vous (Very Often I Think of You) tour by French singer Patrick Bruel. Maisonneuve also designed the stage set and evolved the show design and direction with the artist himself.
