NEW YORK – When American Idiot hit the Broadway stage in 2010, theatergoers were treated to more than just the punk-rock sounds of Green Day’s iconic rock opera; they experienced the visual impact that lighting can bring to storytelling. Auerbach Glasow French, meanwhile, provided architectural lighting design for all public spaces including the performance venues, all lobbies, circulation corridors, historic stairs, San Francisco Arts Commission exhibit space, offices and the exterior.

TV Promo for French Soccer Team Uses d3 Projection Mapping as Quick Alternative to Post-Production Visuals

PARIS – With only two days between the shoot and first TV air date for a 53-second promo featuring members of the French national soccer team as they headed for the UEFA’s month-long 2016 Euro 2016 soccer competition, director Patrick Delobelle needed a speedy alternative to post-production visual effects. He used a d3 2x2plus media server provided by Paris-based Stello Productions for the projection-mapping solution. The Union of European Football Associations’ (UEFA) Euro 2016 tournament runs from June 10-July 10, 2016.
