CARDIFF, Wales, U.K. – LED lighting company Sedna once again teamed up with Cardiff University to support the school’s engineering students as they worked on an LED-lit CR12 series race car outfitted with Sedna’s flexible LED strips. The project, which also involved students from Cardiff Metropolitan University, focused on the LED-lit vehicle’s ability to light up in the dark for a night race around a test track at Llandow last December.

Manchester UK based dbn Lighting design an overall scheme to light all the different areas of the site. Lead lighting designer Stephen Page and a team of seven designers and on-site LDs from dbn worked closely with Tom Ralston and Jonathan Godsmark from Eclipse Staging Services Dubai who provided all the lighting, AV, power and rigging equipment for the multi-day event.
