He specified a range of Chauvet fixtures including 10 Legend 330SR Spots, eight Legend 412 moving washes, nine Rogue R2 Beams, four Rogue R1 Beams, two Ovation F-165WW LED Fresnels, two Ovation E-190WW LED ellipsoidals, 40 PVP S5 LED panels and 16 Chauvet DJ SlimPAR Hex 3 IRC Par-style units.

Catching Up

I took the summer off from lighting any shows to concentrate on the magazine and be available to see all the shows coming through my city.

I have caught up with so many old lighting designer colleagues as well as meeting a few new board operators that have tons of talent. I really wish I had enough time to catch up with everyone out on the road.

Foo Fighters Sonic Highways World Tour 2015

Ligting designer and director Dan Hadley first started working with the Foo Fighters when he started filling in for shows here and there in 2001, then eventually took over full duties. Hadley has also worked with the Foo’s Dave Grohl with the band Them Crooked Vultures where Dave plays drums, as well as for Tenacious D where Dave would also fill that seat once in a blue moon.
