LOS ANGELES — For their recent Ghost Stories tour, with stops at venues ranging from E-Werk in Cologne, Germany; the Beacon Theatre in New York; Royce Hall in Los Angeles; Casino de Paris in Paris; Dome City Hall in Tokyo; and the Royal Albert Hall in London, video director Ben Miles chose the Roland V-1600HD Multi Format Live Video Switcher for a production that made heavy use of a mixture of live and pre-recorded content.

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The organizers of an upcoming Life in Color paint party turned to LaserNet to enhance a visual spectacle for the halftime show during the 2014 International Champions Cup (ICC), a tournament featuring soccer teams. The setup included the use of 10 LaserNet ScannerPro RGB full color laser projectors.

Rx Bandits Using Nexus Panels on “Gemini Her Majesty” Tour

LOS ANGELES – LD Sohail e. Najafi is using Nexus 4×4 panels from Chauvet Professional on Rx Bandits’ Gemini Her Majesty tour. The tour, supporting the band’s seventh album release, presents 20 of the panels on the deck upstage to frame the band and create pixel-mapped versions of the “Rx” in the band’s name. 4Wall Entertainment provided the panels for the tour.

2014 Masada Opera Festival Lit with Martin Fixtures

MASADA, Israel — The fifth annual Masada Opera Festival, held at the foot of Mount Masada, featured Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata opera for an audience of thousands over the course of six days. Lighting director Bogumil Palewicz, who worked with stage director Michal Znaniecki and set designer Luigi Scoglio on the project, used Martin’s MAC Aura LED Wash, MAC Quantum Wash, MAC III Performance, MAC Viper Profile, MAC Viper Performance and MAC Viper Beam moving head fixtures to light the stage and MAC III AirFX fixtures for the surrounding area. The production company involved with the project was Israel’s Stage Design Israel.
