ETCP Updates Questions for Entertainment Electrician Exams, Offers Participation Incentives

NEW YORK – The questions on the ETCP Entertainment Electrician examination have been updated and will appear on exams starting October 15, 2014. ETCP also announced that, in an effort to have as many people take the test as possible from Oct. 15-Dec. 15, 2014, when it will be gathering key statistical data necessary to properly score the exam, the administration fee of $675 for groups of ten or more will be waived during that time. Although candidate application fees will still apply and score reports will be delayed, ETCP is encouraging as many candidates to take the test between those dates, as it will help the growth of the program.

PRG Soars On The ‘History Of The Eagles’ Tour

PRG were pleased to provide lighting & rigging for The Eagles History of the Eagles tour and to work alongside PRG Nocturne UK, who supplied video and a live camera package for the show. The camera package was a GVG Kayak video console with five GVG LDK-6000 manned cameras. There were also eight Barco 2K40 projectors, a PRG Nocturne V9, a 9mm LED screen 24’ x 13′ and four Barco FLM 22K for IMAG with each IMAG setup consisting of two 22K projectors stacked.

LD Rob Sinclair created a powerful lighting spectacle to equal the band’s legendary status for their ‘Queen + Adam Lambert’ world tour. Mack Truck Uses 4Wall Gear for Launch of New Logo

LAS VEGAS Mack Truck called upon 4Wall Las Vegas to provide gear for a launch event celebrating a new logo for the company. “I had a great deal of building surface to try and cover in addition to lighting up six large, industrial Mack trucks, we had a 30ft by 30ft stage area for speeches, awards presentations, and a DJ. The client had a very specific color palette in mind, gold and silver. I designed fourteen 20ft tall ‘tree trusses’ that were spaced around the open piazza along with a central area of circular truss (65ft diameter) where the main bar area was located,” said LD Glenn Wade.
