LAS VEGAS – Chauvet will feature three innovative LED panels at InfoComm 2014. Designed for the construction of large permanent video walls, the Clarity 6 is a 6.25mm pixel pitch RGB panel that combines superb visual quality with ease of installation. The newest member of the ÉPIX 2.0 LED display series, the ÉPIX Tile 2.0 is an 11.8 x 11.8 inch square unit that is compatible with all other products in the series. Last is the Next NXT1, a 48mm pixel pitch RGBW unit that’s ideal for concerts and touring. A moving head panel with a 540° pan and 270° tilt range, the Next NXT1 can create high-impact, sweeping visual effects that will draw in audiences in large arenas and concert venues.

Egypt’s CBC Relies on Riedel MediorNet for Flexible HD Signal Transport

CAIRO – Egyptian TV channel Capital Broadcast Center upgraded its Cairo facilities with the installation of a MediorNet real-time media network from Riedel Communications. Riedel MediorNet frames enable flexible transport of 10 HD video signals between two CBC buildings within the Egyptian Media Production City. Going forward, CBC can connect additional sites and increase the signal load by adding additional MediorNet frames to the network.
