LONDON — Kasper Holten, the Royal Opera House’s director of opera, used projection on a rotating stage to bring a recent production of Mozart’s classic Don Giovanni to life. The creative team included Es Devlin (stage design) and Luke Halls (video design). The visual narrative got an assist from d3 Technologies.

EAST LANSING, MI — The Michigan State University Spartans basketball program is getting an AV boost from Christie MicroTiles and a Christie Spyder X20 image processor. The technology was incorporated into a 30-by-5-foot MicroTiles display in a corridor of the Berkowitz Athletic Complex, home to Spartans basketball. Integrated Design Solutions (IDS) and BlueWater Technologies worked on the project.

NEW YORK – Christie was selected by Digital Media Systems to provide the 3D projection for the world premiere of X-Men: Days of Future Past. The event, which took place May 10, featured two Christie Solaria Series digital cinema projectors lighting up a 26-foot by 62-foot screen with bright, vivid images and 4K resolution.

KNOXVILLE, TENN.- Headlined by country music superstar Sara Evans, the Red, White & Rock event benefited the American Red Cross. Bandit Lites’ Director of Philanthropy, Allison Burchett was the event chair this year following being on the Red White & Rock committee last year.
