PHILADELPHIA — Kanye West’s elaborate, multi-truck Yeezus tour, launched Oct. 19, was disrupted by a highway accident involving a truck carrying custom truss made by SGPS/ShowRig for the production’s 60-foot-diameter LED screen. The truck had been en route to a Halloween show in Vancouver, BC.

Bandit Helps Light the ‘Fuse’ for Keith Urban and Yahoo

NASHVILLE, TN – On Sept. 6, Keith Urban launched his seventh album, Fuse, with a live performance that was streamed across the globe.  The concert was a part of the Yahoo! Music’s Ram Country and took place in downtown Nashville.  Lit by LD Victor Fable and programmed by Susan Rose with support from Mark Carver, Andy York and Buddy Lunn, the team worked with Bandit Lites to transform Cumberland Park into the appearance of a full tour production.

The Mega-Lite N-E Color FX18 is the latest LED wall wash unit from the company.  It features 18 3-watt LEDs and offers individual control of each LED.  The lenses of the fixture are set to a narrow to medium beam angle of 25?.  The fixture is 40″ long and weighs in at 8 pounds with no fans for silent operation.  There are 3 modes of DMX operation for any level of control desired as well as built-in presets.  It comes with 3-pin XLR for data and a PowerCon in and pass through for power.

GLIC’s P6mm LED panel has a 6mm pixel pitch of RGB LEDs. Sized at 22.67 by 22.67 inch squares (576 x 576mm), the panels are 2.95 inches (75mm) thick. They run on AC 220V/110V power with a frame frequency of 60Hz and the size of each pixel is 3.5mm.
