LOS ANGELES — American DJ (ADJ) is offering free ADJ On Tour events are scheduled for the following cities: Dallas, TX at the Westin Gallery (Sept. 18), Akron, OH at the Double Tree Hotel on West Market Street (Sept. 26), San Jose, CA at the Hilton Convention Center (Oct. 10), Danvers, MA (near Boston) at the Hilton North Shore (October 16), Portland OR at Pro Sound and Lighting on SE Belmont (October 29), and Nashville, TN at Sound Check on Cowan Street (November 6).

Colorado Concerts Canceled Amid Heavy Rain, Flooding

DENVER — With communities along Colorado’s Front Range pounded by more than half their usual annual rainfall within the span of a few days in mid-September, resulting floods and rock slides created widespread damage to the region’s mountain infrastructure, knocking out power, backing up sewers and washing out many of the roadways that wind their way alongside normally-dry riverbanks. Numerous concerts had to be canceled or postponed as a result.

LAS VEGAS — Nominations are pouring in for both the 2013 Parnelli Awards and Indispensable Technology (“IT”) Awards. MALIBU, CA — The staging focal point for Prometheus Bound, which is being performed through Sept. 28, 2013 at the Getty Villa here by the CalArts Center for New Performance and Trans Arts Production, is undeniably the colossal 23-foot steel wheel that the protagonist is strapped to during much of the show. LA ProPoint provided the wheel for the production.
