BRATISLAVIA, Czech Republic – Clay Paky’s Alpha Spot HPE 700s and Alpha Wash 700s alongside its Alpha Profile 1500s are being used to light pop idols on the Czech and Slovak Nova TV show, “SuperStar,” a show aimed at discovering the next big singing sensation. Clay Paky’s Bratislavia-based distributor, Pro JGS Light, Sound and Video, supplied the fixtures to Prague-based production company Media Pro Pictures.

STOCKHOLM — As some of the world’s most pronounced DJs took the stage at the Sweden Summerburst Festival, a team of lighting professionals designed and managed a complete Harman Martin lighting display, highlighting artists such as David Guetta, Sebastian Ingroso, Axwell, Steve Angello, Alesso, Steve Aoki and Hardwell, among others. Deployed by Westridge Audio AB, the Martin system was required to have enough power to shine brightly and effectively during both day and night performances.

Working for YOU

Last month, I mentioned how I visit a number of production coming through the Washington DC area. This summer, I went on a working vacation and visited even more tours and productions around the country.  When I visit these various tours, I am primarily there to cover the tour and provide you, our readers with interviews and photos. A bonus for me is that I get to talk to all the stage hands, crew and locals about what is really happening out there on the road.  I live and work in a bubble back at the office.
