BERLIN – ProSieben and SAT.1 has launched its new season of “The Voice of Germany,” a German talent show, recently broadcast from Studio Berlin Adlershof. The show is based on “The Voice” TV format, produced by Talpa Media and Schwartzkopff TV Productions. LD Manuel da Costa used about 300 moving lights, including 50 Clay Paky Sharpys and the new Elidy LED system made by the French manufacturer Chromlech, which Lightpower has recently begun distributing.

The production stopped after the accident and the show has been put on hold until further notice. Audience members said the performer fell more than 50 feet into the production’s pit, which is hidden from the audience’s view.

It was a slight increase compared to the previous event two years ago, which drew 7,364 in 2011.
