T11 Profiles Join T1s and T2s at the Opera National de Paris

As part an inventory renewal of static profile luminaires, the Paris Opera has ordered nearly 300 Robe T11 Profile and T11 PCs, which will join the 200 T1 and T2 Profiles already in place at the primary opera and ballet company of France. Kristi Ross-Clausen, director of the new Stage and Entertainment Technology (SET) certificate program at Madison College in Madison, WI, notes a surprising abundance of entertainment industry jobs in this section of the nation’s heartland. But there’s a problem: “When live events started happening again after the Covid shutdown, over 30% of the workforce didn’t return.” The new SET certificate program is a direct response to all the employers in the area who had been contacting Madison College looking for workers.

Behind the Scenes of the Caesars Palace New Year’s Eve Party

BC Video Services supported the New Year’s Eve party at Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas by using PIXERA media server technology. Julie Palmisano and Keith Floyd have been the creative masterminds of the technical team and have led the charge for many years on the complex production. This year, BC Video Services had the opportunity to support them in designing and executing the highly anticipated 2023 party. Brian Crow joined the team as the PIXERA programmer and handled engineering design.
