Solotech Names Mickey Curbishley President, Rental Division (USA), and Opens New Office in Los Angeles
MONTREAL — Solotech named Mickey Curbishley president of its U.S. Rental Division, effective June 3. Curbishley, most recently with Tait, also worked at PRG after joining that company in 1998 following PRG’s acquisition of Light and Sound Design (LSD). Curbishley will oversee Solotech’s rental operations in Las Vegas, Nashville, DeKalb/Chicago and a new location in the Los Angeles area. Solotech also named Martin Chouinard president of its rental division in Canada. Curbishley and Chouinard report to Solotech president/CEO Martin Tremblay.

The fixtures, sourced via A.C.T Lighting, offer designers a factory-equipped framing system. Most of the fixtures (45) are used for performance lighting; five keylight and backlight the judges.
