ATLANTA – The Comcast Experience has begun this year’s Holiday Spectacular at the Winter Garden in the lobby of Comcast headquarters in Philadelphia where two Analog Way Ascender 48 systems drive one of the largest 4mm LED wall installations in the world.  David Niles of Niles Creative Group is responsible for the wall’s content concept and production year round since its inception and handled the project’s systems design and integration.

Green Hippo Ensemble Shines at Inaugural Eurovision Choir of the Year contest

LATVIA – The first Eurovision Choir of the Year contest took place in Riga, Latvia. Organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Interkultur Foundation, the inaugural event hosted nine professional choirs, each one representing a different European country. The venue was the Arena Riga, a 14,500-capacity stadium, and Green Hippo technology was on hand to help deliver a live spectacular, in keeping of the EBU’s best known production, the Eurovision Song Contest.

ASTC USITT Announce Venue Renovation Challenge 2019

NYC – ASTC and USITT are pleased to announce the fifth collaborative project between university students and ASTC member theatre consultants.  Projects will be presented at the USITT 2019 Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky – March 20-23, 2019.  By working together with a professional theatre consultant as a mentor, students will learn more about how venues are designed or renovated. Additionally, students will see performance spaces differently and therefore will be exposed to other available career paths within the entertainment industry.
