LMG Named AV Provider at Washington State Convention Center; Jill Hashimoto, Josh Highland Join Team

NEW YORK – “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief,” a one-hour TV special on Sept. 12 that featured performances and appearances from a long roster of concert, film and TV stars, raised $44 million in less than one day for those affected by hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and more than $55 million in all. The event was organized by a team led by production manager Scooter Braun, many of whom were also involved in quickly mobilizing and organizing the “One Love Manchester” benefit with Ariana Grande in the U.K. It was organized in response to Hurricane Harvey but expanded to include Irma victims as well.

NASHVILLE – American country singer Easton Corbin has spent the majority of 2017 performing his hits such as “Girl Like You” and “A Little More Country Than That” to audiences across the country. The Academy of Country Music Award winner is currently on tour with a lighting package from Bandit Lites that compliments his lively sound. Lighting Director Tanner Peterson took ahold of the advice of lighting designer Andy Knighton, who said, “Make it big, but keep it simple.”

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas Children’s Hospital is the only hospital system in the state solely dedicated to children, giving them a unique ability to shape the landscape of pediatric care. As part of their dedication to the complete well-being of children, the hospital recently underwent a renovation of their atrium lobby to create a deeper visual experience through the addition of newly commissioned artwork. Needing an effective architectural lighting solution to now light the colorful and vibrant art, the hospital worked with Stageworks and manufacturer’s rep Curtis Stout Inc. and installed Gallery 50W LED luminaires from Altman Lighting.

PHILADELPHIA – George Washington’s tent – yes, that George Washington – is a featured attraction within the Museum of the American Revolution, which opened in Philadelphia in April. It’s lit with ETC ColorSource fixtures, part of a design by Ted Mather and Rachel Gibney from New York City’s Available Light.

SALT LAKE CITY – Nashville-based production provider Elite Multimedia supported Cornerstone AV’s production design for the Young Living Essential Oils National Conference at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium. Elite Multimedia provided PixelFLEX FLEXCurtain HD 6.25mm LED for the center stage and FLEXLite Plus 8.9mm LED for the outside arches.
