NASHVILLE – American country singer Easton Corbin has spent the majority of 2017 performing his hits such as “Girl Like You” and “A Little More Country Than That” to audiences across the country. The Academy of Country Music Award winner is currently on tour with a lighting package from Bandit Lites that compliments his lively sound. Lighting Director Tanner Peterson took ahold of the advice of lighting designer Andy Knighton, who said, “Make it big, but keep it simple.”

The Arkansas Children’s Hospital Brightens with Stageworks-Supplied Altman LEDs

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas Children’s Hospital is the only hospital system in the state solely dedicated to children, giving them a unique ability to shape the landscape of pediatric care. As part of their dedication to the complete well-being of children, the hospital recently underwent a renovation of their atrium lobby to create a deeper visual experience through the addition of newly commissioned artwork. Needing an effective architectural lighting solution to now light the colorful and vibrant art, the hospital worked with Stageworks and manufacturer’s rep Curtis Stout Inc. and installed Gallery 50W LED luminaires from Altman Lighting.

Film Technology Company ARRI Celebrates Centennial

MUNICH  — Exactly 100 years to the day after ARRI’s inception, the film technology company held an exclusive centenary celebration for select guests at the Isarforum of Munich’s famed Deutsches Museum. On September 12, 2017, ARRI’s Executive Board and members of the Stahl family, the company’s owners, welcomed around 100 guests, including long-standing clients, partners, and companions from the global film industry. JOHANNESBURG – Set, lighting and AV designer, Wilhelm Disbergen, relied on a Hippotizer Boreal Media Server and a giant mirror to create something utterly extraordinary for the ballet production Big City, Big Dreams, staged at the Joburg Theatre, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The original showcase, directed by Fiona Ramsay, was a collaboration between three dance companies – the Joburg Ballet, Vuyani Dance Company, and Moving Into Dance Mophatong. Over forty professional dancers adorned the stage as classical ballet infused with contemporary and street dance.
