Total sales for the top 10 tours worldwide, featuring, in order, Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Guns N’ Roses, Adele, Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, the Rolling Stones and Celine Dion hit $1.67 billion — an 11.3 percent gain on the $1.5 billion pulled in by the top 10 tours in 2015.

Evago Group Acquires Mojo Barriers

PYRBAUM, Germany — Evago AG, which owns Bümo, a provider of structures and other products for the live event industry, has acquired all of the shares in Mojo Barriers’ global crowd barrier business. Mojo Barriers, which supported 2016 tours for The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Muse, among others, will continue to operate as a standalone company under Evago’s ownership, the companies said. Mojo’s main office locations in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, USA and Australia along with distributors in 20 other countries will continue to offer its global customers the same Mojo Barriers’ products, led by Alex Borger, CEO. Outgoing co-owners Cees Muurling and Hedwig de Meyer also spoke favorably of the deal.
