Disguise Debuts the Power of Virtual Production Live at SXSW for Brands, Artists and Filmmakers 

Disguise, a global leader in powering real-time visuals for everything from Beyoncé concerts to Amazon Prime shows, is partnering with UK House to bring a state-of-the-art virtual production studio to SXSW for the very first time. Visitors to the venue at Downright Austin can hop on a motorbike from the UK to the US in an immersive experience created in partnership with the UK Advertising Exports Group (UKAEG). Visitors will also experience first-hand how a commercial can be filmed using a virtual production studio in our Accelerator Course taster for Advertising along with other special events and talks.

London welcomed 2024 with its biggest ever New Year’s Eve fireworks, lights and drone show on the banks of the Thames River. Lighting Designer Tim Routledge returned for a second year to light the giant London Eye ferris wheel choosing laser-source Claypaky Skylos fixtures to deliver spectacular beam effects from each of the Eye’s 32 pods.

In order to provide lighting designers and operators with a specialist to address all questions about GLP products and their implementation in a wide variety of applications, the company based in Karlsbad, Baden-Württemberg, has brought in another industry expert to strengthen the team. Well-known Lighting Designer, Toto Bröcking took up the role of relationship manager at the beginning of February. Bröcking brings 30 years of experience in professional design and programming and will continue to implement a few of his own productions. Ombra Design Enhances Nuclear Tactical Penguins’ Dream Show With CHAUVET Professional and Zalight

“A Concert For Dreamers.” That is how one music critic described the two-and-a-half-hour concert by the red-hot Italian indie group Pinguini Tattici Nuclear (Tactical Nuclear Weapons) at RCF Arena, Europe’s largest outdoor concert venue. Like all beautiful dreams, this one too embraced a never-ending universe of hope and possibilities. There were breathtaking pyrotechnics, on-stage tattoo art, lighthearted humor and bantering, ironic musings, and some very spirited sing-alongs involving a crowd of 80,000.
