White Light Provides Lighting for Stage Version of ITV1’s ‘Heartbeat’ in U.K.

BLACKPOOL, U.K. – Set in 1960’s Yorkshire, Heartbeat is one of the most successful dramas ever to be screened on British television. With 18 series and 372 episodes, the show was regularly watched by more than 14 million viewers and spawned two spin-off series. Now, for the first-time ever, this iconic show is being adapted into a stage production that will visit several venues across the U.K. As the leading lighting supplier to the West End and U.K. touring theatre, White Light is providing the lighting equipment for this world premiere, which has now opened at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool.

VER Opens New York City Camera Prep Facility

NEW YORK – VER opened a camera prep facility in New York City, the company’s third such facility on the East Coast. (Similar facilities in Atlanta and Miami opened May and November 2015, respectively). A new prep facility is planned to open in Los Angeles in April 2016. Kinesys at Prolight+Sound Frankfurt 2016

FRANKFURT, Germany – Kinesys will exhibit at Prolight+Sound 2016 from April 5-8, Hall 3.0 on stand D15. Ultra Music Festival Kicks Off 2016 Outdoor Festival Season

MIAMI — Financial backers for some EDM festival organizers may not be in a mood to celebrate this year. (SFX Entertainment, now operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, was delisted from NASDAQ on Feb. 10.) But interest in EDM among festivalgoers still appears to be robust. General admission tickets for the Ultra Music Festival, held March 18-20 in Miami, sold out by late January. SALT LAKE CITY — At the 2016 USITT Show, held March 16-19, Rosco Laboratories presented their eighth annual royalty check from the sales of Roscolux #359 Medium Violet to Behind the Scenes (BTS).
