DETROIT – The Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, MI, a suburb of Detroit, is a historic cinema turned performance venue. Hosting acts ranging from Alabama Shakes to Skrillex, the band Perry to Social Distortion, the venue recently updated its lighting system to include a range of Elation LED moving heads, PAR lights, battens and matrix panels.

To mark the occasion, a lighting installation designed by Sven Sören Beyer and Björn Hermann illuminated 25 bridges across the Main river as part of a spectacular light show on October 3. The lighting included gear from Clay Paky, an Osram subsidiary.

Read More »STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern (Royal Dramatic Theatre) in Stockholm recently added to its investment in Robe’s DL series. The venue, which staged performances in the Big Hall (720 seats) and Small Stage (340 seats) added five Robe DLS fixtures, specified by Small Stage Head of Lighting Jim Rasmussen. These fixtures join another six in use around the other stages.
