Severe Weather Disrupts Major NYC Area Festivals

NEW YORK – The Governors Ball music festival on Randall’s Island and Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey were both affected by severe weather that moved into the area on June 2. Attendees at Hot 97 were able to return to their seats after a delay, but the Governors Ball event was cut short with an ordered evacuation. Governors Ball organizers also noted that refunds would be issued to those purchasing tickets for the day affected, and partial refunds would be available for three-day pass purchasers.

LED Video Reaches New Heights at Burj Khalifa, with Assist from SACO and disguise

DUBAI – At 2,722 feet in height, the Burj Khalifa has reigned as the tallest building in the world since the structure was completed in 2009. Eurovision 2019 Lighting Includes DTS Fixtures

TEL AVIV, Israel – LDs Ronen Najar and Dakar Azulay, lighting designers working on this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, relied on Italy-based DTS for a big part of the lighting component in the production. The rig for the semi-finals and finals, held at Expo Tel Aviv May 14, 16 and 18, included 376 Katana LED bars for the main hall and 48 Synergy 5 Profiles in the Green Room.
