Creative Conners’ Spotline Practical is a compact new hoist with a powered lifting line and integrated motion controller. Spotline Practical easily lifts small scenic elements and practical lighting while maintaining safety standards and ease of use. Controlled by Conners’ Spikemark software, the Practical is programmable and cue-able with the entire family of Creative Conners’ hoists and machines. Spotline Practical features 35 feet of travel, a maximum speed of 48 inches per second, and is capable of lifting 15 pounds. Utilizing a 110 V powered lifting line, Practical can power up to 1200W suspended lighting instruments.

South Carolina State House AV Upgrade Includes Dual EK-810U Laser Projectors from Eiki

COLUMBIA, SC — Gattis Professional Audio of Lexington, SC worked on an AV upgrade at the South Carolina State House is the seat of South Carolina’s state government in Columbia, SC. Company president Sid Gattis discussed the project and his decision to deploy two Eiki EK-810U 8000 Lumen laser projectors.

TAMPA, FL — Paul O’Neill, a producer, composer and lyricist who founded Trans-Siberian Orchestra in the mid-1990s and saw its twin holiday tours rise to enormous success, died April 5 in Tampa, FL. He was 61.
