Entertainment rigging professionals have welcomed the launch of Straightpoint’s latest innovation, StageSafe, a 3t load cell dedicated to the theatre and live events industry. Straightpoint products are already used in entertainment applications—its Wireless Load Shackle and Loadlink plus are commonplace—but StageSafe is the first product the manufacturer of force measurement, load monitoring and suspended weighing load cell equipment has dedicated to the sector.

ORLANDO — APG Displays played a key role in a video upgrade for CNN’s shows including The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and The Lead with Jake Tapper. The upgrade was completed last year just in time for election season. Key components included 1.2mm and 1.6mm video display technologies from APG Displays, including a 25-foot-wide 1.2mm Leyard LED display, a 108-inch diagonal 1.2mm Leyard LED display and a 30-foot-wide 1.6mm Leyard LED display.

LOS ANGELES  – Descanso Gardens is a botanic garden open to the public and nationally accredited as a “museum of living collections. In a season filled with holiday light displays, Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles has debuted “Enchanted: Forest of Light,” a unique, interactive nighttime experience.  Visitors enjoy a one-mile walk through eight distinct lighting displays in some of the Gardens’ most beloved areas.  Six MA onPC systems were selected to control the lighting and interactivity for the majority of the displays.
