SHIZUOKA, Japan –  Lighting designer Scott Zielinski used Robert Juliat’s Dalis 860 cyclorama washlights to light the backdrops for the theatre production of Richard Sandaime, a co-production between the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and the Singapore International Festival of Arts. The theatrical production premiered at the Shizuoka Arts Theatre in Japan as part of its World Theatre Festival 2016 earlier this year.

Area Four Industries released its latest catalog for EXE Technology rigging and automation products. The company notes that the D8 range now features an 8:1 safety factor with new load capacities of 250 kg / 500 kg /1000 kg / 2000 kg and the D8+ range has new load capacities of 150 kg / 300 kg / 600 kg / 1200 kg. All EXE-Rise hoists now feature a double brake, updated identification labeling and black plugs and sockets. A new 8 x 24mm chain also brings added safety to 1000 – 2000 kg hoists, and Dynamic Stack Tracks from the EXE-DST range have updated data, new modules and new configurations.

Panattoni Europe Event Enhanced with 3D Video Mapping using d3 Media Servers

WARSAW, Poland – Panattoni Europe, a company that develops warehouse space for clients, celebrated the end of its business year with a gala at Warsaw’s Tor Sluzewiec racetrack, which featured 3D video mapping. VES was tasked with turning the historic, 1939-era Tor Sluzewiec interior into a warehouse full of moving, steampunk-style cogwheels.  Invitees were surrounded by projections on the ceiling and every wall of the building; the dynamic visuals were integrated with a surround sound audio track.

2016 Las Lunas Awards Show in Mexico City Lit with Robe Fixtures

MEXICO CITY – The 15th edition of the annual Las Lunas Del Auditorio – the Mexican live performance and music industry’s prestigious awards – was staged at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, a star-studded event honoring national and international talent with 23 awards and nine dynamic live artist collaborations. Once again, the lighting was designed by one of Mexico’s best known LD’s Tiffy (German Castellanos), with more than 100 Robe fixtures on the rig, supplied by top rental company LED Project.

Lumenpulse, a specification-grade LED lighting solutions manufacturer, recently provided their Lumenbeam luminaires for the restoration project of the RJ Corman Railroad Bridge. Built in 1890, yet still structurally sound, the bridge, spanning the Cumberland River in downtown Clarksville, TN, was rusting and appeared dilapidated. A simple new coat of silver paint just would not do.
