As Indiana University embarked on an ambitious project to launch two new schools and a brand new building, the design team responsible for the projects wanted to ensure that each school’s building captured the attention and enthusiasm of students, faculty and visitors.  In short, they wanted the buildings to deliver a ‘WOW’ factor that would immediately demonstrate that Indiana University is always ahead of the times.

Nocturnal Wonderland Lights Up the Night with Claypaky Fixtures, grandMA2 Consoles

LOS ANGELES – The Nocturnal Wonderland music festival was staged for its 21st year Sept. 2-4 at the San Manuel Amphitheater and Grounds.  The festival, presented by Insomniac and Pasquale Rotella, turned to LD Steve Lieberman of Westlake Village, CA, who lit four of five stages with a variety of fixtures. Claypaky fixtures played a key role, including Mythos and Sharpy fixtures, and grandMA2 consoles, also distributed by ACT Lighting, controlled the washes and beams that lit up the night.

Roland’s new VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer is designed to serve as an easy-to-use, compact and portable AV mixer that integrates a digital audio mixer, video switcher, multi-viewer touch screen and USB video/audio streaming interface into a stand-alone device. The VR-4HD has three dedicated HDMI input connectors compatible with a variety of equipment and offering support for 1080p/1080i/720p video resolutions. A fourth input includes a scaler to support both video and computer resolutions and also supports analog RGB and component input, as well as HDMI, so older devices can be used as sources without the need for external conversion equipment.
